2019 Dr. Seuss Day at FLE

Students and staff celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday at school by dressing up as characters from his iconic stories. Dr. Seuss, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, was born on March 2, 1904. Children and adults all over the world have enjoyed his books. His stories have also been made into countless movies and TV shows. We are happy to celebrate the birth of such an amazing author and illustrator!

2019 Arbor Day Program and Tree Planting

1st Graders held an Arbor Day program and planted a Japanese Magnolia tree. The students planted the tree in a bare area that will become a picnic area. A group of 3rd Graders have adopted a service project for FLE that will transform this area. Visitors from the Soil & Conservation Agency came and spoke to the students and planted the tree for us. It was a very interesting and informative program.
